Konkani Kards
Konkani Kards is a set of 240 illustrated flashcards designed to help English-speaking users, especially non-native speakers, learn spoken Konkani in a simple and engaging way.

Konkani Kards is a visual flashcard-based learning tool designed to make spoken Konkani more accessible, especially for settlers and non-native speakers in Goa. Rooted in user research and lived experience, the cards feature everyday vocabulary with visual cues, phonetic pronunciation, and cultural context, making language learning intuitive and engaging.
Unlike traditional methods, Konkani Kards focuses on conversational fluency and consistency through playful, bite-sized learning. By preserving a local language and supporting community integration, it fosters cultural continuity and a sense of belonging in a linguistically diverse region.

Each set contains 240 flashcards, thoughtfully divided into four categories:
Home, Market, Calendar, and Conversation.
Staying true to the grounded and simple essence of Konkani, I designed the cards with a minimalist aesthetic. The earthy color palette is inspired by the Konkan coast, allowing learners to connect not only with the language but also with the culture and traditions it carries.
